‘I HAD TO BE A PART OF IT!’

MILLIE'S GODZILLA ADVENTURE

Not one to back down from things that go bump in the night (on screen at least!), Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is swapping one pack of beasts for another in her first movie Godzilla: King Of The Monsters.

The 15-year-old – who stars as the daugher of a scientist, Madison Russell – says making the epic flick was a “crazy, wild” experience and she had an “awesome time”. And while the cast and crew were dealing with scary stuffwhen the cameras were rolling, the mood was much more light-hearted during down-time. “I pranked everybody on set,” says the British starlet. “We put cockroaches in the milk cartons, we put snakes in the water coolers.”

But it wasn’t all play. Millie says the role was “definitely hard”. “It’s a lot of stunts,” she explains, adding that she enjoyed both “the challenge” and the chance to work with director Michael Dougherty. “I just had a really incredible connection with [him],” she reveals. “I just really love him.”
