In December 2019, the Florida father of four was rushed to an Orlando hospital and remained there for an agonizing 107 days, having gone into septic shock due to complications from the flu.

Friends and family had even rushed to his side on New Year’s Day 2020 to bid their tearful goodbyes as he had slipped into a coma and was declared medically dead for nearly eight minutes.
