Coleen ‘can't protect' the boys from Wayne's past forever

The star bravely speaks out in a bid to warn her husband she won’t put up with his cheating again

After a clip emerged last week of Coleen Rooney speaking out for the first time on her husband Wayne’s infidelities, a source has told new that it’s her way of telling him enough is enough.

The couple appeared in a teaser for their new documentary Rooney, which will look back at Wayne’s career on the pitch, as well as his life at home with Coleen, 35, and their sons Kai, 11, Klay, eight, Kit, five, and three-year-old Cass.

And after years of cheating claims, Coleen is finally addressing the damage that they have had on their relationship, saying his behaviour “was not acceptable”.

“Coleen doesn’t like to dwell on the past,” a source close to Coleen told new. “But she and Wayne both knew this documentary couldn’t be made without discussing the cheating. There’s been so much said about it and them as a couple, and she felt this gave her a platform to address it. Her insisting to camera that it was not acceptable was also her way of reminding Wayne of that.
