Fans loved their two-episode reality show special last year. Now, new parents Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet are back with a six-part follow-up series featuring their 11-month-old son, Brody.
Viewers will see the former TOWIE regulars navigate the highs and lows of becoming parents for the first time in Georgia & Tommy: Baby Steps.
And among the parenting milestones are sleep routines and weaning. “Oh God, the whole choking and dying thing,” Georgia tells us. “I genuinely thought he could die. I was really scared. You just get used to doing what you are doing with bottles and next minute… you’ve got to give food. I am so much better now. It just takes time, it really does.”
And when it comes to baby bedtimes, Tommy has nicknamed Georgia “Rule Book” because of her strict approach. Confessing she’s a “control freak”, she says, “I am very regimental. I have realised that babies do actually need that routine and structure.”
And the 30-year-old’s anxiety isn’t helped by social media’s constant stream of images of “perfect” children and parents, although she realises she needs to cut herself some slack.
