Michelle faces recovery head-on

After breaking down on Lorraine, Michelle Heaton has told friends she’s in a better state of mind

Michelle Heaton is finally feeling excited for the future and is determined to tackle her recovery head-on, a source close to the star told new.

Earlier this year Michelle shockingly confessed that she’d been hiding a secret drink and drug addiction and, speaking on Lorraine, she explained it had significantly worsened during lockdown. Friends, including Katie Price, convinced Michelle to go to rehab and now the 42-year-old has been sober for more than 100 days, after entering the Priory rehab facility in April.

Opening up on Lorraine last week, the former Liberty X singer – who is mum to Faith, nine, and Aaron, seven – broke down in tears as she apologised to the host for previously drinking before interviews on the show.
