‘Stacey takes a step back'

Loose Women’s Stacey Solomon is stepping back from her high-profile career to focus on being a mum after an accident at home involving her toddler son, a source has told new.

The pregnant star, 31, was shocked when two-year-old Rex was rushed to hospital, where he had stitches in his lip, after a fall in their garden.

The accident left both Stacey and her actor fiancé Joe Swash shaken and has been something of a wake-up call for the singer who works long hours for her role on the ITV weekday chat show.

“Stacey is really taking a step back from work,” our source revealed. “The little accident that Rex had gave them a shock and while Stacey tries to do everything and please everyone, she knows she needs to put her health and her family first.
