‘Trust? We're not there yet – it's early days'

The last time we saw TOWIE’s Yazmin Oukhellou and James Lock – aka Lockie – on our screens, they had sadly gone their separate ways. The pair split in August 2019 after two years together when Yaz accused Lockie of cheating on her during their holiday to Turkey – a claim he denied.

But fast-forward a year and all has been forgiven, with the pair confirming they were back together when they were pictured kissing in Majorca back in July. However, they admit they’re taking things slowly this time around and are enjoying dating exclusively.

In their first interview since reconciling, Yaz tells new, “I feel like the things that went wrong in the relationship before, we now know to put right this time. I look at that as a test run – and now this is the real run.”

Lockie adds, “We got to a point last year where we both needed to have some time to think. I went and did my thing and she went and did hers. Whatever happened, happened. It’s all in the past now.”

While they never lost contact with each other, they started seeing other people during their year apart. Yaz briefly dated pal Lauren Goodger’s ex-boyfriend Jake McLean, while Lockie went on to star on Celebs Go Dating.

But they tell us they’re starting afresh – and it’s clear to see they’re stronger than ever as we join the loved-up pair at Yaz’s Essex flat for our exclusive shoot.
