The Actress Is Bringing Sexy Back In Her Mysterious New Netflix Series.
While Chris Hemsworth is away, Elsa Pataky will play! Her new role in Australia’s first original Netflix series Tidelands has the Spanish actress embracing her mysterious mermaid side. When former criminal Cal McTeer (Charlotte Best) returns to her beachy hometown, a dead body washes ashore, bringing with it questions about her past, her family and all she’s ever known. Elsa, 42, admits she was sold from the beginning, saying, ‘Everybody came to this project being very happy about what we’d read and with a lot of enthusiasm’.
The siren-centred drama promises a burning romance, serious suspense and a mysterious fishing village built on a web of secrets and lies – welcome to Orphelin Bay!
