Is the Reality Star Crumbling Under the Pressure of Fame?

Living life in the spotlight is taking its toll on Kylie Jenner – and the cracks are beginning to show, as the star admits her mental health is at stake. ‘It’s just it is a lot to handle,’ the 20-year-old confesses. ‘Sometimes, I’m like: “This is it. I’m going insane…” I just want to run away. I just don’t know who I’m doing it for.’

It’s not the first time the young star has opened up about her struggles with mental health. ‘If I tried to go to the movies or something, I would stop breathing in the middle and just cry,’ she revealed last year of the crippling anxiety that left her unable to live a normal day-to-day life. ‘I felt super trapped, like everybody was watching me.’

This kind of paranoia isn’t uncommon in cases of anxiety. But of course, for Kylie – who boasts nearly 100 million Instagram followers and is the owner of the most-viewed Snapchat account – everyone is watching. And they have been for a long time.
