Presenter Lisa Snowdon had her heart set on trying the knot last year with fiancé George Smart until the pandemic meant they had to put their plans on hold.
But the This Morning favourite, 49, says she’s now so relaxed when it comes to her big day that she would even consider an intimate ceremony with just George, 40, by her side.
“It might just happen when we’re away somewhere and we’ll be like, ‘Look at this place! This is the time we should do it,’ and we’ll just do it,” she says.
Here, Lisa opens up to OK! about her positive attitude towards ageing and how she turns a blind eye towards negativity on social media...
Hi, Lisa. Where will you be jetting off to this summer?
One or two city breaks for sure, but I really do want to float on my back, look up at the sun and just be a starfish in the water. I would also love to go to Japan and Thailand at some point. But first and foremost, I really want to see my dad for his birthday. I’ve booked a restaurant and I can’t wait to be with all of my family again. I don’t want to get too excited and start booking flights. I’ll stick with the UK for now!
You’re turning 50 in January. How are you feeling about it?
