LOUISE REDKNAPP ON WORRYING OVER THE REVELATIONS IN HER NEW SELF-HELP BOOK, FROM SUICIDAL THOUGHTS TO WISHING SHE HAD TRIED HARDER TO SALVAGE HER MARRIAGE

Louise Redknapp has spoken about her “worry” over some of the startling revelations she’s made in her new book, You’ve Got This: And Other Things I Wish I Had Known.

Opening up about its contents, Louise admitted, “You worry about other things you may have put in there that are more concerning.”

The singer, who was chatting about her forthcoming memoir to Alan Carr on BBC Radio 2’s The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, said, “I think it needed a certain amount of being honest and truthful to make it work. If I just skimmed across a few things I think people may have felt cheated and [thought] it was just something I did for the sake of it. I think I’m pretty honest the whole way through.”

Shocking disclosures from the book, which is out on 4 March, include Louise confessing that the end of her marriage to former England footballer Jamie was so heartbreaking that she even considered taking her own life.
