AFTER A DISASTROUS VISIT TO THE U.K., PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN MARKLE'S MILLION-DOLLAR DREAMS ARE COMING CRASHING DOWN.

WHEN Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in the U.K. to attend Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in early June, they were in for a rude awakening. While the couple had been hoping for a warm welcome - and a chance to repair their damaged reputation they were iced out by the likes of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Charles and even Queen Elizabeth II, who reportedly spent just 15 minutes with her grandson and his wife during their visit. To add insult to injury, the pair were also booed by the crowd outside St. Paul's Cathedral after the National Service of Thanksgiving on June 3. "Harry and Meghan's attempt to make a comeback in the U.K. failed," a royal insider tells Star. "The trip was a total disaster."

Seems the pair just can't catch a break since their unceremonious departure from royal life in early 2020. At the time, they wanted it all the cachet of being royals without the responsibilities. They also wanted to make bank. Despite every effort to cash in on their notoriety in the U.S., however, many of the duo's projects have either stalled or failed, and the insider says they're in danger of losing everything (including their lucrative Netflix deal, reportedly worth $100 million). "Harry and Meghan left the monarchy to become superstars, but nothing is going according to plan and now they're scrambling to stay relevant," says the in: er. "They are in dire straits."
