Being a teenager can be a confusing time. Your body is changing and you’re noticing the opposite sex in a very different way. That’s when your parents sit you down for “the talk”, but that bonding time isn’t on the cards for Cebile (Kamogelo Molatlhoe). Instead, her mom Patricia (Sibongile Nojila) is doing everything possible to avoid the sex talk – even saying a blunt “No!” This weakens their mother-daughter bond, says Kamogelo, who is 25 and playing a 15-year-old character. “Cebile wants to know why her mom is unwilling to share this with her. Who is she meant to learn from if not her mother?” But there’s a reason Patricia is hesitant.
