Love is in the air

February, move over – July is officially the month of love! First, we have the very single Mazwi (Musa Ngema) finally taking the plunge into the dating game. And investigative journalist Siyanda (Kay Sibiya) is also embracing love – but he’ll have to break someone’s heart in the process.

Recently, Siyanda was caught between his estranged wife Pamela (Zola Nombona) and the wise doctor Sphe (Pearl Noxolo). But after weeks of keeping both ladies at arm’s length, Kay says that his character finally makes his choice. “ It’s no easy decision. It’s clear he still loves his wife, but there’s a reason why their marriage didn’t work. Sphe, on the other hand, is a fresh start. He feels he has a real shot at stability and happiness.”

We’re not surprised. Sphe was there when Siyanda lost his mom earlier this year and the bloody ordeal they went through when Jack (Vusi Kunene) was cut to pieces left the duo with an undeniable connection. But Kay says that Pamela, who’s used to having her way, “will be devastated” and that Sphe is rightfully concerned about her.
