Harry and Meghan Love, lies and drama

January 8 marked two years since his love for his wife, Meghan Markle, prompted Prince Harry to make the shock announcement that he was walking away from his royal life. And as the life-changing anniversary passes, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are finally realising that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

After splashing out $20 million to buy their nine-bedroom “dream home” in July 2020, the pair are already looking to sell their Montecito mansion. Harry and Meghan “aren’t over the moon about the house or the location”, a source close to the Sussexes told British newspaper The Mirror.

After growing up in front of the camera, Harry, 37, has made it clear that he wants son Archie, 2, and 7-month-old daughter Lili to have a private childhood. But the star-studded Santa Barbara neighbourhood, which is home to celebrities including Oprah Winfrey and Charlize Theron, hasn’t proved to be anywhere near as secluded as the prince had hoped.
