Pamela Anderson - '‘I'm a survivor!

There was really only one innocent victim who suffered when the intimate sex tape of Pamela Anderson and her then-husband Tommy Lee was stolen and released to the world – the unwitting star of the film itself.

While it angered and upset Lee, in the end it only enhanced the Mötley Crüe drummer’s reputation as a bad boy as he became the envy of those who desired the ultimate ’90s blonde bombshell and Baywatch babe.

Others have actually profited and traded off what happened to Anderson. Sales in the tape exceeded $105 million in the first 12 months alone after its theft in 1995 and this year, hulu has had a hit on its hands with Pam & Tommy, an unauthorised dramatisation of the ultimate celebrity sex tape scandal.

But Anderson would be forever judged by the moral police and her acting career was permanently derailed. She became the butt of jokes for talk show hosts and was often dismissed as a joke herself.

But no more. The actress and activist is reclaiming her life and her story.
