Santa smiled up at me from my Christmas mug as I sipped my morning coffee and said a prayer for Debbie, who had given me this one to add to my collection. And that was over 300 mugs ago! But I had no trouble at all remembering where I got it.
I kept a personal record of every single one. On the bottom of the mug, I wrote the name of the person who gave it to me, and what number it was in my collection. While I drank my coffee out of it, I prayed for that specific giftgiver. But I had a rule for those interested in getting their name on my Christmas mug prayer list. Fifty cents was the spending limit.
