It's not easy being Green

Orchestrated by the Woodland Trust and the Community Forest Trust, which estimate a bonus of £2 billion for the economy, the plan is to plant 62,000 acres of woodland over the next 25 years. A 120-mile coast-tocoast corridor along the M62, between (and, crucially, within reach of) Bradford, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool, has already been earmarked as the perfect spot for 50 million trees —these will include oaks, conifers, spruce and pine.
