Cricketer Andile Phehlukwayo’s star is shining bright – and he has his sights set even higher
HE’S only 21, but thanks to his inclusion in the upcoming T20 Global League he’s become an instant millionaire.
He joins 16 other Hollywood bets Dolphins players who were handpicked to play in the inaugural South African tournament that will see eight teams of local and international players battle it out in the 44-day tournament starting on 3 November.
Thanks to his great form, Andile Phehlukwayo was one of the early picks.
“It’s nice to have been in the top three of the draft. That money can make a big difference in my life,” Andile says of his R1,3-million fee.
Unlike most people his age, he doesn’t plan to blow the cash on cars or designer threads.
