V For Victory

THE BEGINNING

Born to a famous Producer father and a housewife mother in a small village in Andhra Pradesh, Venkatesh is the second of three kids. Following his schooling and under-graduation in Chennai, he moved to the USA to complete a post-graduation in Business Administration before returning to India to follow his dream of producing movies. However, the foundation for his acting career was laid at a very young age of eleven itself. Venkatesh first appeared on screen as a child artiste in the 1971 movie Prem Nagar. He began his career as a hero in the 1986 movie Kaliyuga Pandavulu and garnered instant acclaim and recognition, with the movie fetching him a Nandi Award for Best Male Debut Actor. One can only say, there has been no looking back since.
