Queen of Soul’s sons and lover scrapping over her vast legacy

JUST days after superstar Aretha Franklin’s shocking death, a battle exploded over the Queen of Soul’s $80 million fortune — pitting her two younger sons against her longtime lover, Willie Wilkerson, sources say.

“Willie believes he’s entitled to a nice piece of the estate because he’s been more loyal to Aretha than anyone, including her own children,” since he hooked up with the Grammy winner in the 1980s, a source close to the family dishes.

But her younger sons, Ted White Jr., 54, and Kecalf Cunningham, 48, reportedly want to keep Willie from getting a dime — even though he was twice engaged to their mom, the source says.

However, the soul diva’s oldest kids, Clarence Franklin, 63, and Edward Franklin, 61, are likely open to settling with Willie, says the insider, who notes other relatives feel the guy should take a hike!
