Corruption In India
Defined as moral perversion or perversion of integrity, corruption has become a household practice all over the world. I would not subject this term and practice to our country alone, for it' s reach has gone far beyond. Where did all this start from? We were not a completely corrupted society. People were far more balanced in the head and it would be a rarity to find a corrupted person along the drive. When we look for the sole and primary reason for this virus that has infested our world we land in the singled-out reason of `greed'.
As humans, were we always greedy? Taking a walk back to the Neanderthal period and the way these early species survived, there are recorded evidences of their cannibalistic behaviour. If not greed what else could we attribute these behaviour traits to? When we have all this to blame on genetically, as modern humans, we could not be spared of this greed taking over us.
Every stage of civilization had its growth and fall in a cycle. And by the looks of it, the level of corruption that is prevalent in our world today, seems to be sending a secret message of sorts to beware.
Where is it that we cannot find corrupted practices, corrupted people? I guess, step one to solving this issue is to start from within. If every individual starts to believe in him/herself, make up their minds that a small seed of change could be the sea of change for a better tomorrow, we can be sure that we are leaving a safe world for the future to prosper.
