Katee Sackhoff searches for alien life in a new sci-fi thriller
She’s best known for playing Kara ‘Starbuck’ Thrace in the acclaimed reboot of Battlestar Galactica, in which the survivors of a nuclear attack searched for a new home in space. Now, Katee Sackhoff is starring in new Netflix sci-fi series Another Life, about a space mission in search of extraterrestrial life.
The discovery of a massive alien artefact that mysteriously appears on Earth is the starting point for the series, which follows Niko Breckinridge (Sackhoff) and her crew as they blast off in a bid to find the source – only to encounter some interstellar horrors along the way.
INTO THE UNKNOWN
‘Niko is the commander of a spaceship called Salvare,’ explains Sackhoff, who has also starred in TV series 24 and The Flash. ‘There is a signal that the ship is following out in space, and they’re trying to determine its origin and save Earth.’
