Comedians James Acaster and Josh Widdicombe reunite this week for a third series of their panel show Hypothetical, which sees teams of comedians forced to think fast on their feet as they are given pesky quandaries such as, ‘You have 24 hours to steal James a pet from his local zoo – how would you do it?’
The first to get the Hypothetical treatment this week are comedians Tom Allen, Desiree Burch, Suzi Ruffell and Sophie Duker. We caught up with Acaster, 36, and Widdicombe, 37, to find out more…
Can you tell us about some of the scenarios in the new series?
Acaster There are definitely some very weird ones in this series. There is one regarding Howard from the Halifax adverts, which is much weirder than anything we would ever have done in the first series.
