The Masked Singer is back with a weird and wonderful new line-up

It was an early sign that 2020 would be an unusual year when we began it by watching an octopus, a duck, and a chameleon singing on national TV.

Nonetheless, The Masked Singer’s challenge of guessing which celebrity was crooning from inside a costume became a major obsession – which you can revisit by watching The Masked Singer: The Story so Far (Sat 19 Dec, ITV HD, 5 pm).

And the hit series is also back for a new eight-part run, starting on Boxing Day. Joel Dommett is on hosting duties once again and returning panelists Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, and Rita Ora are joined by newcomer Mo Gilligan.
