Run

Wednesday, Sky Comedy HD, 9pm

Have you ever fantasised about running away? Just dropping everything and leaving it all behind for an exciting adventure with an old flame?

That’s the premise of Run, a thrilling off-the-wall US comedy romance from Killing Eve writer and Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, which debuts on Sky Comedy this week.

The eight 35-minute episodes follow ex-college sweethearts Billy Johnson (Star Wars’ Domhnall Gleeson) and Ruby Richardson (Unbelievable’s Merritt Wever), who decide to fulfil a pact from their youth.

ESCAPING

Seventeen years ago, they promised that if one of them texts the word ‘Run’ and the other replies the same, they would walk out on their lives and head to New York City’s Grand Central Station to set off on a cross-country adventure together.
