Bob Mortimer and Vic Reeves celebrate 25 years on the BBC with a new series of Big Night Out
It’s a quarter of a century since The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer first wafted onto the BBC.
To mark the occasion, Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer are back with a new four-part series, Vic & Bob’s Big Night Out, featuring more of the duo’s unique brand of comedy.
TV&Satellite Week caught up with them to find out what’s in store…
Welcome back! What are some of the highlights in the new series?
Mortimer There’s Tom Cruise, the return of The Man with the Stick, and George Ezra. And a sketch about Robert Winston and Andrew Neil.
Reeves We also do a Diversity dance number – what Diversity do is really very easy. And there’s some ghost-hunting, where we come across the ghost of Bruce Forsyth.
Has either of you seen a ghost?
Reeves You’ve seen a ghost, haven’t you, Bob? You saw a monk climbing up your drainpipe.
