Troubled Laurel succumbs to temptation – can Jai get her back on the right path?

The loss of a baby is always tragic, as Laurel Thomas well knows, having suffered little Daniel’s death in 2008.

But Laurel’s sadness at missing out on raising her and Jai’s child is mixed with a raft of other emotions – like guilt and shame. She terminated the pregnancy because the baby had Down’s syndrome and, as such, doesn’t feel she has the ‘right’ to grieve.
