We missed out in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this week, the special instalments are back with a bang.

This time round, the story centres on Abi and Imran's bitter battle for baby Alfie. Unbeknown to Toyah, Imran recently plunged to a new low to get custody of his son, and hired paralegal Ben to fib in court and say that he saw Abi buying drugs, when, in fact, the struggling mum had been keeping her nose clean.

Desperate not to lose another child after Seb's brutal murder and her twins Lexi and Charlie going into care, Abi has embarked on a secret plot to snatch Alfie from the Habeebs and do a runner with him to Costa Rica using fake passports.

The action kicks off with an ominous flash forward in which Imran leaves his wife a chilling message, admitting to what he has done. As we then revert back to the present day, Imran's conscience starts to kick in thanks to a mouthful from Kelly, who has been rocked by Abi's account of his tawdry antics.
