Alan Titchmarsh laughs out loud when TV Times suggests he must be a walking encyclopedia after filming Secrets of the National Trust.
‘I’ve learnt a lot, yes – question is, how long can I retain it?’ grins the ever-affable presenter who is, of course, also a font of knowledge on all things gardening.
‘I do love unlocking the secrets of Britain’s breathtaking estates, though,’ adds Alan, who returns with the second part of the second series on Channel 5 this week.
