Tom Allen on chatting to celebs ahead of the BAFTA TV Awards, light-up bow ties, and his brush with a Hollywood legend

Tom Allen is ready and raring for his second consecutive year of red-carpet reporting duties at the BAFTA TV Awards, especially as this time he’ll get to meet some of the stars in person rather than virtually!

The 2021 ceremony – to be hosted by comedian Richard Ayoade following his successful debut last year – will take place at Television Centre in London, with guests and presenters set to either attend the event in person or join in the celebrations via video.

Ahead of the big night, TV Times caught up with Tom, 37, to learn more…
