As Seb’s murder trial draws to a close, what lies in store for Corey and Kelly?

Through all these months of soaps filming with social distancing, it’s surprising we haven’t seen back-to-back court hearings.

After all, what is more COVIDfriendly than people stood alone reading their lines from opposite ends of a big airy room? And if all the trials were as gripping as Corey and Kelly’s this week, we don’t think anyone would complain.

Emotions are still running super-high in Weatherfield Crown Court – and things are only set to get more intense as the jury retire to consider their verdict on Seb’s murder.
