By the end of last week’s episode of Cornish costume saga Poldark, everything was looking rosy for Ross. He was making good progress with his plans to inspire change at Westminster and his marriage to Demelza was the happiest it’s been in ages as she joined him in London.

But, of course, fans just knew this meant that Ross’ world would soon come crashing down in spectacular style!

Here, leading man Aidan Turner and his co-stars Eleanor Tomlinson (Demelza), Heida Reed (Elizabeth) and Max Bennett (Monk) talk to TV Times about the three big stories set to change their character’s lives forever…

DEMELZA’S DILEMMA

With Ross away in London, demelza has been busy taking charge of things at Nampara, looking after his family, business and pretty much all of Cornwall to boot! So she was understandably delighted last week when her husband finally asked her to join him in the capital and the move has already helped get their notoriously rocky relationship back on track. Aidan explains that being in London together is like ‘a new lease of life for them both’.
