TV TIMES NEWS: So, Debbie, the story has moved on to 1794 and the French revolution is casting a shadow over life in Cornwall. what does this mean for our hero Ross Poldark, played by the lovely Aidan Turner?

Debbie: Even if Ross doesn’t return to his regiment and fight, he’ll still be dealing with the devastating effects of war at home: civil unrest, increased poverty, the ever-present threat of an invasion. And when circumstances dictate that Ross must travel to France, his own safety is in constant jeopardy…

How will ross’s relationship with Demelza (eleanor Tomlinson) develop this series? and how does new character, aristocrat  Hugh Armitage (Josh whitehouse) fit in?
