Let’s face it – even if we’ve saved up a healthy Christmas fund, somehow we always manage to overspend in December – it’s all those tantalising offers and treats, not to mention the adverts! And every year it seems tougher than ever to find the perfect pressie for that special someone.

So TV Times was relieved to hear our friend Phillip Schofield is on a mission to take the panic out of festive shopping, with his new three-part ITV series How to Spend It Well at Christmas.

The idea is to provide plenty of gift inspiration, test out the fad toys and help us avoid the Christmas Eve shop dash. We’re sold!
