Bees are in serious danger of becoming extinct, with 46% of species having declined in the last decade. If the trend continues, it could be catastrophic for humans as well.

In his new two-part C4 series, Jimmy’s Big Bee Rescue, farmer and presenter Jimmy Doherty looks at why the bee population is decreasing and explores how we can help to increase their numbers in Britain.

‘Bees are the most important creatures on the planet,’ says the Food Unwrapped and Jimmy’s Farm host. ‘They are vital for pollinating our crops and are responsible for a third of the food we eat. Without them, our entire food chain is threatened. If we don’t do something now, we’re all in trouble!’
