The book of Boba Fett star wars’ most iconic bounty hunter – finally – gets his moment in the twin suns…

When The Mandalorian’s Season 2 finale post-credits sting dropped last year, it was safe to say fans lost their minds. Already stunned by the return of a certain iconic Star Wars Jedi Knight, this additional tidbit was almost too much to take. Heralding new spin-off show The Book Of Boba Fett, the galaxy’s most notorious bounty hunter and his companion Fennec Shand break into Jabba The Hutt’s palace, and kill the vile gangster’s loyal aide Bib Fortuna, who has been occupying his throne ever since his master’s demise.

“I was blown away by the [public] reaction – [it] could have gone either way,” says Temuera Morrison, the New Zealander who plays Boba (having first starred as his father, Jango Fett, in 2002’s Attack of The Clones). As setups go, it was tantalising, with the mercenary Fennec taking her place by Boba’s side in Jabba’s inner sanctum. “There’s a lack of reverence for that throne,” comments Morrison’s co-star Ming-Na Wen, who plays Fennec. “It’s now become their home and they’re making it their home.”
