Which songs on Faster are you most proud of?

I really like Hypnotic because it’s got a really jarring, surprising guitar moment. I don’t think, on first listening, you’re anticipating that it’s going to drop into this frenetic solo in the middle of this vibey, electronic R&B type song. And I really like the solo on Twisted Ambition. It’s short but it comes with some real rock hits.

What guitar was in your hands most this year?

I would say probably the SG - it’s just my most comfortable-feeling guitar. I wish I had more surprises for you on that! It just feels good to me - I find it fits my personality and my playing really, really well.
