While the anti-corruption unit is looking likely to be disbanded, Superintendent Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar) is facing imminent forced retirement and DI Steve Arnott (Martin Compston), who’s secretly addicted to painkillers, could be risking suspension if he continues to avoid having a medical review.
