He prides himself on being “at one with nature”, but the bizarre and erratic behaviour of MKR star Pete Evans over recent weeks has fans wondering what’s up!

From posing semi-naked with animals to reading books on psychedelic experiences, we’re told friends are now concerned he’s taken his mission to lead a healthier lifestyle way too far.

In a move that raised plenty of eyebrows, the TV chef, 44, shared a snap of his holiday reading on Instagram earlier this month, which included a book called Mushroom Wisdom.

“Author Martin Ball explains how mushroom use can lead the spiritual seeker to profound states of self-awareness and radical understanding of the nature of the self, reality and the sacred,” reads the book description.
