Publicity-shy Katie and Jamie left no room for doubt they’re a couple at a pre-Grammys party recently

WE’VE seen them together so rarely it’s hard to believe it’s been five years since the ultra private pair began their romance – but new snaps of Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes reveal an intimacy that’s hard to ignore.

The lovebirds stepped out at Clive Davis and The Recording Academy’s Pre-Grammy Gala in New York although the cosy couple moment clearly wasn’t planned at all.

Katie (39), ravishing in a red figure-hugging gown, her dark hair cropped short and slicked back, actually arrived at the shindig without her beau.

She and Jamie (50) were seated together, but Katie tried to avoid attention by moving away before even host Clive Davis announced Jamie was there. But the US music mogul, who’d been announcing and welcoming all the big names in the crowd, was having none of it.

“This lady left the room right when I was going to introduce her,” he told the celebs in attendance, which included the likes of Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Sting and even Andrew Lloyd Webber. “She was sitting at that table with Jamie Foxx and everyone else. If you’re going to sit together what better night than tonight?” he added as the star-studded crowd roared with laughter.
