Things are hotting up between Prince Harry and his sexy girlfriend Meghan Markle – could a wedding be on the cards?
THE venue: a members only club in Soho House, West London. The occasion: an intimate dinner for two. The diners: a certain red-headed prince and a stunning brunette actress. The others present: gobsmacked at what they were seeing.
“Harry and Meghan tried to keep things as low-key as possible and were sitting in a small snug area of the restaurant,” an onlooker says. “But it wasn’t a private area and they were happy to be seen – although they had eyes only for each other.”
The sighting – and subsequent hand-in-hand walk to a waiting car – marks the first public display of affection between Prince Harry (32) and sexy Suits actress Meghan Markle (35), who friends say have become inseparable over the past few weeks.
Meghan, who’s been on a break from filming the US legal drama in Toronto, Canada, has virtually moved into Harry’s cottage at Kensington Palace, a friend of the star says.
“They’re practically living together. She cooks for him, he pops out to the gym and they’re just enjoying hanging out.” In another telltale sign that things are becoming increasingly serious, Meghan has been wearing a new gold ring sporting the letter “H” on her right hand.
The bling addition has set tongues wagging that it could be a promise ring from the fifth in line to the British throne, who after a string of failed relationships is said to be eager to settle down.
“It would be great to have someone else next to me to share the pressure,” Harry revealed in 2015, soon after the end of his romance with British actress Cressida Bonas (28). “But you know the time will come. I don’t think you can force these things – it will happen when it’s going to happen.”
By all accounts it looks as if that time has come.
