The Belgian actor stars in the Netflix action-comedy The Last Mercenary as Richard Brumère, a mysterious French former Secret Service agent also known by his code name, Mist. He’s on a mission to save his estranged son, Archibald (Samir Decazza), who’s been accused of crimes he didn’t commit.
While Jean-Claude’s character rebuilds his relationship with his son, he uncovers illegal arms deals made by shady government officials.
The Last Mercenary is a throwback to the action movies of the ’80s and ’90s, the heyday of Jean-Claude, Sylvester Stallone, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, according to its director, David Charon.
