Consisting of over 140 extraordinary masterpieces, the collection marks a first for Bulgari — by showcasing no fewer than 30 creations dedicated to the emerald. The Emerald Glory is a magnificent piece that evokes the grandeur of royalty and the splendour of a time long past, so it is not surprising to find out that more than 3000 hours of handwork went into its creation. With 11 pear-shaped Colombian emeralds surrounded by a cascade of 73 diamonds totalling over 220 carats, this intricately wrought necklace covers the base of the neck like a collar would. In fact, despite the impressive number of gems it features, the necklace possesses a fluid texture that brings to mind a lace ruff worn by European nobility in the past. The piece is highly transformable — it can be worn as a necklace, a choker or a tiara.
