Zahra say, "My family natively hails from Africa & some of my ancestors also belonged to Kutch, Gujarat. So my early childhood was spent in Tanzania, Africa & later our family moved to Canada. So for my higher studies in Pharmacy I moved to UK where I met Faisal. Faisal's ancestors belong to Pakistan but his generation has been born & brought up in UK.
Faisal is a computer engineer professionally but I really feel he should have been a DJ owing to his love for Punjabi music. Since our families are spread over different countries, our wedding was more of a cultural affair with elegance & class.
How they met
With a huge smile and blush, Zahra said, “We were both at a small coffee shop in the UK, buying ourselves a cup of coffee that would help us deal with the hectic day ahead. Faisal fell short of a few pennies and I came to his rescue and we exchanged numbers because he wanted to return the favour. We planned to meet in a few days and it turned out to be our first date. Faisal is the most fun loving and caring person I have ever met. He’s crazy about music, especially Bollywood and Punjabi and little did I know then, that all our future dates would be like mini music concerts for me! With time our bond grew stronger and we were sure we wanted to get married. This is when the families came in and warmly welcomed our decision”.
