When we think of electric two-wheelers in India, low-powered scooters with short range come to mind. However, that is no longer the case as bonafide automakers are launching powerful electric bikes in the country. While the electric bike segment is still lagging in terms of options that will change very soon. Therefore, we have brought you some of the new promising launches of electric bikes this year.
REVOLT RV400
The Revolt RV400 is currently available in only two cities – Delhi and Pune. The bike is powered by a 3,000W motor that can produce 170Nm of peak torque and a top speed of 80 kmph. It is powered by a 3.23 kWh battery that can be fully charged in 4.5 hours and has a range of 150 km. It is available in two variants – Base and Premium. The Base variant is available for `3,499 per month and the Premium variant is available for `3,999 per month. Buyers will have to pay 37 monthly installments for both the variants.
