Sudeep Verma was a high-flying achiever when an incident compelled him to seek answers through past-life regression, which changed his perspective forever
The trajectory of my life has been full of peaks and dips, and it is only when I went through past-life regression that it all fell into perspective. So here is my story.
I was a young, bright, and promising youth who everybody considered was cut out for big things in life. Yet in my heart I was a plain simple man who only wished for a life of goodness, love, warmth and companionship.
I excelled in studies and went to the US. Lady Luck courted me and I became rich. My parents wanted me to get married, so I married the first girl whose proposal came my way. However, I vowed to treat her well. In the meantime, I worked hard and scaled the heights of my career. Internally, I remained a simple man. My material possessions did not matter much. I believed that money and position come and go, but what remains is your humanity. Eventually, I returned to India with a very healthy bank account. By then, I had already realised that money could not give me happiness. And therefore I travelled, made friends and gave happiness to others.
Here in India, I joined a big company. I rose very quickly within the ranks and became vice president in six years. It was a large portfolio where I managed 1,600 people in a day, and created a profit of 50 million dollars for the organisation.
Later on.I started my own company in learning and development where I trained emerging engineers for corporate work. I created an elaborate plan, and one of my very senior colleagues asked me if he could join me. I agreed and we started in 50-50 partnership. By the second year, we became one of the top emerging companies of India awarded by NASSCOM. Since I was focussing on sales and deliveries, I asked him to take care of HR and finance.
