When we see newspapers the world overpraising the CEOs, presidents, and other dignitaries, some of us can rightfully think that it is not just the CEO who works so hard, the janitor or the watchmen at the company works equally hard. Then why is all the praise reserved only for the big guns? Many times in life we see that all the praises and accolades are generally won by people who are at the forefront, doing what we feel are the more complicated jobs, and the people doing simple jobs or working behind the scene are not praised or given their dues.

No Work is Big or Small

Having resumed work after three years, the first week was the most difficult one for me. There were lots of issues, one amongst them was the nature of the work I was assigned. It was something which was very simple. I was supposed to fill the holiday calendars for some senior people. For a second, it made me think what am I really doing, filling up attendance for the people?
