Realizations In The Times Of Corona Virus

Fuelled by Social Medi and with a bombardment of WhatsApp messages, fear prevailed over everyone. This fear, being the basic primeval instinct of man, soon developed into mass hysteria, and paranoia floated in the air. Soon it became a jamboree with people scrambling to grocery stores, hoarding as if there was no tomorrow, running to the chemists as if the medicines wouldn't be available. Who knew that the essential medicines would be available but we would actually run out of sanitizers and face masks. And, of course, the unscrupulous ones making hay in this mayhem, while the panic sun was shining bright.

Being a trained yoga teacher from The Yoga Institute, and having the teachings of the Founder, Mother, Dr. Jayadevji and Hansaji, I decided that enough was enough. I was not buying into this panic, it was not mine, and I had to conquer it. It was a wakeup call.
