My mother likes to have her early morning tea prepared to her taste every day. While we do have house help to help with the meals, we do not have a helper for preparing the early morning tea for my parents. And somewhere I had the desire that we should be able to afford a house help who could make tea for her and then she can get the well-deserved rest. She has been preparing tea almost non-stop for more than 40 years now, every day of the year. My idea of a good life was centered around the thought that my parents should do less and less household work as they near old age.
It was while undergoing the Yoga Teachers Training Course, that on one of the days, I happened to read an article by Dr Sahab, where he mentions “Charaiveti Charaiveti”. Life means to keep moving forward. That article was the first step in a change in my attitude.
